Muffins for Moms Event
Friday, December 8, 2017

Muffins for Moms -- 8:00am in the Lyndale Media Center
All female caregivers are invited to join us for breakfast and coffee beginning at 8:00am in the Lyndale Media Center. This is a great opportunity to socialize with friends and family! This is an adult only event. Donations to the Lyndale Funda are optional, but greatly appreciated.
 
Please, come any time during the event (8:00-9:30am). Please RSVP to John Alveson by December 6th -- 612-668-4000. Sorry Lyndale students, this event isn't for you - school-aged kids should eat breakfast in the cafeteria.
 
Minnesota Sinfonia -- 9:30am in the Lyndale Multi-Purpose Room
After breakfast, stay and listen to the Minnesota Sinfonia orchestra performance for students in the Lyndale School Multi-Purpose Room. The performance usually lasts about an hour.

This fun event is a longstanding Lyndale tradition where staff and families come together the week before Thanksgiving for fun, food and games. There will be pizza dinner (donations requested to cover cost), bingo to win a turkey, and other games and activities.

It's Give to the Max Day!

Join those who have already given in support of the arts programming at Lyndale -- make a Give to the Max donation today! Just click on over to the givemn.org page and search for Lyndale Community School. Every donation brings us closer to our $5,000 goal.

You can stop by the PTO table at drop-off this morning to make a donation -- baked goods and coffee if you donate!

Native American Family Involvement Day, Nov. 16

Please join us for coffee and donuts in our newly decorated conference room to celebrate Native American Family Involvement day after students arrive to school tomorrow, Thursday, November 16. Lyndale will also be celebrating Native and Indigenous peoples with a performance by a Native drumming group during assemblies at 10:00am (PK-2nd grade) and 10:35am (3rd-5th grade).
