Hello! Welcome to Room 236 and 4th grade.

My name is Mr. Gau. I have been teaching in Minneapolis since 2001.  I was born and raised here in South Minneapolis and never left. I attended the Mpls Public Schools, graduated from South High in 1997, and graduated from Augsburg college in 2001. I live in South Minneapolis with my wife Katie, son Kaleb and daughter Talia.


We are looking forward to working with you and your children in our quest for knowledge. We have a very exciting school year planned. There are many field trips, speakers, and events. We look forward to meeting all of you!
