Roxanne Poindexter

Welcome to Lyndale Community School! Kindergarten will be an exciting first year of formal instruction. You won’t believe how fast you will be attending his/her high school graduation and looking on toward college.

I have been teaching since 1987.  My vision is to hear every student reading by the end of school year. These kindergarteners will be my new little friends and watching them grow and thrive is going to be life changing for both you and me! Get ready, let’s work, let’s grow!

Here at Lyndale, I will work to ensure your child feels safe and valued. My hope is that my students will gain an educational base toward strengthening his/her future learning.

I believe communication between parent and teacher is crucial for the success of your child. I will aim to reach you by phone at least once every month of the school year or you can reach me by email at: rpoindexter@mpls.k12.mn.us or by phone at 612-668-4000.
