My name is Tiffany Axness and I will be your child's 3rd grade teacher this year. (I am returning from a leave of absence/breast cancer survivor).  I'm very excited to be back at  school working with your child! 

My style of teaching SWaRMS around curriculum. S-social studies W-writing R-reading M-math-S-science.  I integrate and differentiate my instruction to fit the needs of all my students. 

This is my 5th year teaching at Lyndale Community School. I have been teaching in the Minneapolis School District for 19 years. I am a graduate of Minneapolis Public Schools (Wenonah Elementary, Fowell Jr, High, Roosevelt High School)  I received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Augsburg College and my Masters Degree in Education/Teaching and Learning from St. Mary's University.
