Welcome to Lyndale Community School. My name is Lindsey Nash and I am excited to be teaching Kindergarten for my 3rd year here at Lyndale. I went to college at the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse where I earned a degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education. I love teaching and I am eager to watch and guide your child to learn and grow everyday. Kindergarten is an important year socially and academically and together we will succeed. Home and school collaboration is very important to your child’s achievements, therefore I am always willing to talk with you about the learning that is occurring in our classroom. Please stop in any time before or after school, send me an email, leave me a voicemail or write me a little note on your child’s communication sheet. As your child’s teacher I will work to provide a learning environment where your child feels safe, is able to be themselves and can explore, discover, learn and grow everyday.

REMINDERS

Every Day

Remember to send proper clothing for the weather. The children will go out everyday unless it's raining.  (Label all items with your child's name.)  Thanks!

Every Night

Remember to read with your child every night, then sign the back of the calendar in your Take Home folder.

Thursday

 Every Thursday we will get to go to gym. Students need to wear tennis shoes in order to participate

Tuesday

On Tuesdays we will go to the Library. Students need to return their books from the previous week in order to check out a new book. We have a book box in our room to return them throughout the week.
