We are excited to announce that again this year all children on the regular education buses will be joining the Lyndale Walking Bus route on Fridays along the Pleasant Pathway. The Pleasant Pathway is an opportunity for Lyndale students to wake up their brains by walking to school!

Starting this Friday, September 21, all regular education buses will drop students off at 38th and Pleasant, where they will be met by Lyndale staff. From there, students and staff will walk the four blocks together into school. The Pleasant Pathway will run Fridays until Thanksgiving Break and will resume in the spring.

Parents and children who do not take the school bus are welcome and encouraged to walk with us each week. We meet on 38th St. about 8:20am. If you drive, please park away from 38th St. and Pleasant Avenue, so you do not block the school buses.

All Lyndale students on regular education buses participate in the Pleasant Pathway. If you have questions, would like to volunteer, or do NOT want your child to participate in the Pleasant Pathway, please contact Assistant Principal Hunter, 612-668-4017, sarah.hunter@mpls.k12.mn.us.
