Remember to keep your student home if they have these symptoms:
Attendance
Daily attendance is expected for all students. Student attendance will be taken based on the student being physically seated at the start of school each day.
If students exhibit any illness related symptoms, they should be kept home and the health office should be called at 612-668-4007. Find out more on the Lyndale Health Office webpage
Report an Absence
Call the attendance line at 612-668-4007 if your child will be absent from school. Even if you have sent an email to your child's teacher, you still need to call the attendance line. Be sure to state your child's name, teacher's name and reason for the absence. Please call daily for multiple absences.
Illnesses are excused with a note from the parent up to 3 days. After 3 excused illnesses, a letter will be sent requesting a doctor's note for subsequent illnesses.
Planned Absences for Approved Family Activity
For planned absences up to 5 days, please complete the Planned Absence Request Form. Planned absences of 6 or more days also require principal approval. Please fill out the Planned Absence Request Form or call the school at 612-668-4007.
