Caregiver and Family Involvement
Lyndale Site Council
MPS schools with Title I funding are required to have a Site Council. Lyndale's Site Council includes parents, staff, administration and a community at large member. The purpose of the group is to support the school vision and mission, advise on school-based policies, and discuss the School Improvement Plan. Lyndale's Site Council typically meets the first Tuesday of the month from 4-5 pm and meetings are open to all. This year, meetings will be held in the large conference room with a virtual option to join on zoom. For questions regarding the Site Council please contact:
Lyndale Parent Teacher Organization - PTO

The PTO meets every month in the evening has lots of ways to get involved. Feel free to reach out to the PTO to get involved or ask questions via email at lyndalepto@gmail.com.
Coffee with Caregivers
Once a month we hold a Coffee with Caregivers on the first Friday morning of the month at 8:25, right after dropping off students for their school day, Caregivers are invited to join our Principal, Assistant Principal and staff in the Media Center to connect families and share information.
Volunteering
There are small and large, daytime and evening needs. Volunteers are needed to tutor students, work in the media center, chaperone field trips, fundraisers such as Give to the Max Day, Read-A-Thon and new events we are building following 2 years of the pandemic. We also need help with family events Welcome Back Celebration and Food Share in the Fall, International Night and STEAM nights in the Winter and End of Year Celebration and Food Share in the Spring.
