Isadora Szadokierski, School Psychologist
My name is Isadora Szadokierski and I work as a school psychologist at Lyndale School. As a school psychologist, my job is to be a problem-solver to help students do their best at school. I am a member of the special education team, but also work with Lyndale students, families and school staff.
I grew up in Colorado and attended college in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. I then went to graduate school at the University of Minnesota. After completing my internship in the Minneapolis Public Schools, I started working at Henry High School in 2009. I began at Lyndale in 2018. I have worked at different grade levels, but my favorite is elementary, where I get to work with children who are learning to be scholars as well as developing the important skills of taking care of themselves and getting along with others. In my free time, I enjoy reading, gardening, hiking and spending time with my family.
Every year, I supervise an intern who helps provide psychological services at Lyndale. In the 2020-2021 school year, the intern working with me is Nicole Shaffer, who is coming from a graduate program at Eastern Illinois University.
