Dear Families,

It is finally
May and the sun is out!  The students
have enjoyed the warm weather this week and the fresh air at recess.  Last Friday we were able to plant three new
trees on our school grounds.  The trees
are planted in the middle planter box between the school and the playground
area.  The trees are a swamp white oak
and a tamarack.  We are excited to see
our new trees grow along with our students.

COVID Updates:
 Minneapolis is seeing an increase in COVID cases the past week.  We encourage families to keep their children
home if they show symptoms.  We have
rapid tests available for students if they are exhibiting symptoms or have been
considered a close contact.  If you would
like a rapid test, please contact the Health Office at 612-668-4007.

Dismissal Reminder:  Remember, there is NO afterschool programming
on Monday. Students will need to be picked up by 3:37pm or take the bus home.

Friday Play Dates:  Our PTO invites parents and their children to
stay after school and play on the playground while parents take a minute to
connect!  Every Friday through the end of
the year, PTO would love to have you all join on the playground!

Summer Programming:  School Programming will now begin on July 5th and end on July
