Welcome to 3rd Grade with Mrs. Sanow

My name is Jessica Sanow and I will be your child’s third grade teacher this year. I am thrilled to begin another year at Lyndale Community School. I have been teaching here since 2014. I feel blessed to belong to such a wonderful community of staff, students, and families!

A bit about me:

I earned my Undergraduate and Masters Degrees from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. I have been in the Minneapolis District since 2012. Prior to working at Lyndale, I spent a year teaching fourth grade at Lucy Craft Laney School, and another year co-teaching a first/second grade classroom at Marcy Open School. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, cooking, gardening, and playing softball or tennis.

It is my goal as your child’s teacher that you feel informed and up-to-date on your child’s progress. I very much appreciate a face-to-face conversation, so please feel free to stop in to the classroom!
