Welcome to High Five with Miss Molly

My name is Molly McLoone. I am the High Five teacher at Lyndale Community School. I began my career in Minneapolis Public Schools as a Special Education Assistant in 2003 working with students with Autism. I have been teaching High Five at Lyndale School since 2008. I went to Minneapolis Public Schools from K-12th grade. I want to thank you for sharing your child with me this year! I know that we are going to have a great time!
I have a degree from the University of Minnesota in Child Psychology, Psychology and Youth Studies. I have a teaching degree from the Urban Teaching program at Metro State.
During the school year we will be getting to know each other and our school environment, learning to write our first names and recognize our last names. We talk a lot about being safe at school and on the school bus. We will look at various social skills throughout the year. Being a good listener and being friendly at school are the first ones this year. Please remind your child about these skills when you talk to him/her about school.
Please feel free to contact me at school to discuss anything about your child that will contribute to his/her success. The school phone number is: 668-4000 and my e-mail address is molly.mcloone@mpls.k12.mn.us
