Please welcome Meghan O'Connor Fisher, new principal at Lyndale Community School! 

Ms. O’Connor was most recently an assistant principal at Seward Montessori. She has more than 14 years of experience in education, including as an elementary school teacher and instructional leader. Ms. O’Connor shows a deep commitment to supporting students in all areas of their education, from academics and arts to behavior and safety.

Dear Lyndale Community,

I am pleased to announce Meghan O’Connor Fisher as the new principal of Lyndale Community School, effective July 1.

Ms. O’Connor was most recently an assistant principal at Seward Montessori. She has more than 14 years of experience in education, including as an elementary school teacher and instructional leader. Ms. O’Connor shows a deep commitment to supporting students in all areas of their education, from academics and arts to behavior and safety.

Ms. O’Connor holds a master’s degree in teaching from the National-Lewis University and principal licensure from the University of St. Thomas. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa.

In talking about her new role, Ms. O’Connor said she is excited to continue the great work started over the last few years and grow relationships with students, families, staff and the community. “Lyndale is a vibrant, diverse, thriving school community,” she said. “Your efforts to welcome new families and strengthen programming over the last few years show how much you care about students succeeding. I share that commitment with you and look forward to all we can do together.”
